Jonathan Lynn's directorial debut is the feature film adaptation of the board game of the same name that you've probably played at least once in your life (I still haven't).

In 1954, six strangers are invited to a secluded New England mansion for a party. Met by the butler Wadsworth (Curry), they are given pseudonyms to protect their true identity, because all of them are being blackmailed by a Mr. Boddy (Ving) to hide their secrets, and all of them have skeletons in their closet that could ruin them all if revealed (sexuality, bribery, adultery, theft). Wadsworth himself is also being blackmailed, since his wife has many Socialist friends, and he has summoned everyone here to confront Mr. Boddy upon his arrival, and turn him over to the police. After Mr. Boddy arrives, he realizes he's being set up, and he offers the guests an alternate proposition: using weapons that he provided to kill Wadsworth, keeping their secrets safe while continuing to blackmail everyone.

After Mr. Boddy is killed (five more visitors to the house also bite it before the end), the guests all deny responsibility, and they all explore the house looking for the truth. Wadsworth comes to the conclusion that he knows who did it, running through a frantic re-enactment of the entire evening with the guests in tow. Was it...

A. Miss Scarlett (Warren), using her call-girl Yvette to kill Mr. Boddy, the cook, and the others, planning to use the others' secrets for her own benefit?
B. Mrs. Peacock (Kahn) to hide the fact she's taking bribes from foreign governments?
C. Wadsworth, who is in reality Mr. Boddy, and lured his accomplices in the blackmail scheme to the house to be killed by the other guests, enabling him to keep blackmailing them all?

It depends on which ending comes up if you don't select the DVD option to watch all three endings, of course.

Recommended movie.
